About LifeStones

LifeStones was inspired by a life-long love of African proverbs that began on our childhood farms in southern Africa where the wisdom of the elders was respected by the community and was dispensed and received with a reverence that is uncommon in today’s world.

Ritual also played an important role in integrating this knowledge, so the idea of a series of rune-styled stones which could be drawn from a bag and interpreted by the seeker, with the help of an accompanying booklet, was born.

This set of WisdomStones is designed to be a companion that prompts you to find your own inner guidance. It draws on modern interpretations of ancient knowledge. Each stone bears a symbolic meaning that interconnects thoughts, emotions, experiences, living things and the wisdom of spirit. They reveal how fate may weave the fabric and pattern of our lives, but that we have the power to choose our own colours.

LifeStones (Pty) Ltd is a small company in South Africa. We make sets of stones to be held, kept close, and returned to, slowly.

Our first set is WisdomStones from Africa. Others will follow in time, each sold on its own.

Each set comes with a code that opens the full companion app.
